(communication infrastructure between Romania and Moldova )

Ministry of Transport, through “Telecomunicatii CFR”, carries out between 09.09.2013 - 09.08.2015, in the Joint Operational Programme Romania - Ukraine - Moldova 2007-2013, Common Borders - Common Solutions, the project "Cross-Border Infrastructure (communication infrastructure between Romania and Moldova)" Code MIS - ETC 981, funded through E.N.P.I.

Scopul principal al proiectului este creșterea capacității de cooperare între autoritățile publice din România și Republica Moldova pe aria transfrontalieră, prin implementarea unui sistem integrat de comunicații. Proiectul implementat de Ministerul Transporturilor împreuna, în calitate de aplicant, împreună cu Ministerul Afacerilor Interne din România, Ministerul Afacerilor Interne al Republicii Moldova și respectiv Ministerul Tehnologiei Informației și Comunicațiilor din Republica Moldova, ca parteneri își propune:

Developing a common telecommunications infrastructure (data and voice) between Romania and Moldova over the eligible area of the program,

Increasing public sector efficiency by achieving interoperability between public authorities and local program area,

Increased rail traffic flow and decrease operating time between railway stations, respecting the conditions relating to traffic safety.
